Accepted SAP concur offer and fragomen collected documents in early Jan. So far no news on h1b receipt or LCA. Attorney won’t respond to emails. Anyone else in similar situation? Recruiter said she has no idea about it and I should follow up with fragomen
Fragomen sucks. Keep on top of your process. I recommend you get educated about immigration because Fragomen can easily screw things up. Escalate soon if needed.
^This I know way too many people who've had to deal with Fragomen. Each one of them curses Fragomen bitterly and they all have lengthy stories about how Fragomen didn't ever respond and often even seemed to show they didn't know/care what they were doing.
I had the same experience. I used to send emails to Fragomen ccing my CPO(Chief People Officer) of the company and they used to respond within a hour.
That sounds right... government shutdown likely delayed processing but these are paid services so I would doubt it. Check with Fragomen if they are indeed the contact.
It can take a while for them to respond alright but they generally always get back to you. Haven’t had any major issues with fragomen. They did mention to me recently that government shutdown has caused some delays for them.
India, China, and Israel are filled with engineers that were put on one way flights from SFO because Fragomen screwed up their process
Which Fragomen office you’re using? New jersey? Make sure to copy the SAP HR contact, hiring manager and if you know, the Fragomen office head in all of your emails. I believe for NJ it’s Rahul Shah.
I have the recruiter on all my emails. Fragomen told me the LCA is still pending. I will follow up with them tomorrow. I don’t know where they are based. Seems like west coast.
How long generally it takes for getting an offer and applying for transfer ?
It should take 1.5months
