Who made the transition in a management or executive role from SAP to Salesforce? How do the company cultures compare? How TC, benefits etc? SAP, Sen Dir, T5.1 340 TC
Dang Sr Dr can make 340k? When I worked at SAP our Sr Eng Dir was making like 200k TC in Palo Alto lol
People of my level generally call themselves VP nowadays. I just hate title inflation. The rest is negotiation my friend, and I’m not Eng
Didn’t come from SAP myself but know several that did and are all happy. Specifics all depend very heavily on group. Comp depends on if group is hot or not. WBL some groups really respect it some drive you down to the ground. Overall tho TC like u said is all negotiations. Either keep level and expect a nice bump or down-level rank but keep about same TC. 340k TC for non-sales business side Senior Director in HCOL areas would be on lower end for good groups.
Intriguing feedback of a great company. At SAP WLB is paramount, but people still get s**t done. Though admittedly that also is a gross oversimplification and generalization in both aspects. TC though is not everything and I struggle even within SAP to change due to almost ideal setup. Let’s say a 20% up to 400ish leads to a breakdown in WLB —- not worth it at all.
Does SF India reloocate people to international offices as easily as Microsoft Amazon, is there a policy in place atleast?
You probably would get down leveled to senior manager at SF
Is this firsthand knowledge? What does that translate to?
