Data mining was always SAS' uniqueness. Their analytics I always found average at best. Goodnight used his SAS profits to turn himself into a real estate tycoon here in the Triangle. Anybody's guess what happens when he finally lets go.

I have used SAS on and off for the past 20 years and it has helped in maintaining career stability.
