If given a choice which role will you choose TPM vs SDM? I am planning to transition to SDM role in Amazon and wanted to understand the process and things to watch out for. How good is SDM job in Amazon and Google?

SDM all the way. No part of me would want the TPM life, it's literally just hounding people all day

So what's SDM life like? All I've seen thus far is 'terrible wlb' but few pros.

You will grow tremendously as an SDM at Amazon but your WLB is in the grounds.
