Most posts I read here are about coders and technical people. What do Quality Assurance Analysts and Business Analysts earn in top companies & FAANG? Are BA & QA expected to be technically sound too? What do you think of these career options wrt salary & other things? Thank you!

Software Developer Engineer Test (SDET) was the QA role at Microsoft in the past but has been abolished. QA is a subset of what engineers do and are responsible for the quality of their work.
BA is something that is primarily done by the PMs (Program Managers) and to some extent designers at Microsoft, among the other responsibilities they have.
While QA does exist in many companies and in various forms.
QA/QE
SDET
Yes they are supposed to be technically sound. QE maybe little less but the more technically sound you are, the more you can grow.
SDET in big companies earn same or less than development team. Less is more common.
QA/QE same to SDET or somewhat lower. Less is more common.
I did see some BA positions at some of these companies (e.g. Amazon), but they seemed to be more focused on BI and data analytics rather than requirements/systems analysis.
