Do SETI at google have their title as seti, software engineer, or software engineer tools and infrastructure?
This can be validated by a simple search on LinkedIn. Try searching for people with "software engineer tools and infrastructure" and filter by company name. Statistically, most people are coming from either testing background or tech consulting firms.
Also remember to avoid “EngProd” (engineering productivity) teams. These days Google also puts SWEs there to do SETI’s job in blatant disregard of the ladders it sets up itself.
I know some who don’t and just say “Software Engineer” on Linkedin. ( I don’t care SETI is a SWE anyways with different focus).
It is a software engineer with focus on tolls and infrastructure so up to you
second class position. Don’t go.
