What is the difference between expectations from a SETI interview vs SWE interview. Also does the pay differ too?

Yeah. I got invited to interview for SETI role.
For SETI there will be interviews focused on testing too. However you'll still have leetcode and design interviews just like a SWE and the bar is the same. Pay is the same. You can even transition between those roles and your comp won't change a thing
Do SETI developers work on the internal build system? How is it different from the technical infrastructure team? I have been struggling to get answers to these questions from the recruiters. I am more interested in bazel/blaze familiar?
SETIs work on anything related to engineering efficiency tools and internal build systems are most definitely part of this. If you work on a product team however most of the work is going to be on testing infrastructure.
