How to crack Google coding interview?

Apr 18 11 Comments

I was able to solve 90% of the problems that I solved 1 year ago or 6 months ago without revising them.

How can I use this skill to my advantage and get an offer from Google on my upcoming interview which is in a month from now?

You should be able to solve > 90% of new problems if you want a good chance at Google, and fairly quickly at that since Google tends to ask multiple questions per round.

That is a weird bar you have for yourself. You should be able to solve 100% of the problems you have never even solved before; let alone those which you already solved.

    Anyways,
For Google interviews, I suggest focusing on basics. I find that people who optimize for max leetcode coverage do well in Meta interviews and fail in Google interviews.

Do about 30 Google tagged leetcode questions of medium difficulty. Spend a couple of hours atleast for each question trying to internalize the concepts.

  • Know the patterns inside out. Talk with confidence. Pray to whatever you believe in not to get a psycho interviewer
