Hi, I plan to leave the US in 1.5 years. Need a decent functioning car for transportation - dont care about color, model make etc. Please advsie how to buy and sell a car without loosing any money, minimum to zero maintenance costs. Thank You God Bless. TC: 160K
Ask your colleagues for Lift. That's the only way for your criteria 😂
Elon Musk says all Tesla cars are an appreciating asset. So buy one and make a profit when you leave. Or stay back another year and make even more profit!!
I'm selling a car that's been super reliable for me, for $6k in the bay area. Dm me if interested
Toyota or Honda. That's your best bet.
You want it without loosing money and minimum to zero maintenance cost. Sounds like a plan 🙂 Okay, jokes apart, it is unrealistic, but you can try some second hand but not so old toyota or honda cars, you will loose a little on depreciation while selling back, but again do not expect zero sum game.
This. The older the car, the less depreciation is left. When in grad school, I bought about a 9 year old Subaru and sold it for a small profit after a year.
