RVP role pre sales, GTM & industry Strategy. Can someone from Salesforce share their thoughts on what the salary/bonus/RSU range would be? I am a senior executive with 20 plus years of technology and business experience, maps directly to the role. Thx!
Except most of the people here dunno shit about executive comp negotiations especially at large public companies. Get yourself a broker/negotiator if you are at that level
Thx...I can see your logic based on the first guy's response! I was hoping SFDC folks would chime in if they should have some valuable insight is all!
Best way to find that kind of broker / negotiator? “Executive search” firms are overrated in my opinion. Curious to hear any suggestions.
Most people here are bored engineers. The guy above is right too. If you are really that old you shoild know a couple VPs at salesforce
Not necessarily! Besides I like the anonimity here to have an open conversation about comp ranges. Sometimes you don't want to ask your professional acquaintances these questions until you are sure you plan to go public with career transition plans. Make sense?
Yeah but i mean. You should do a confidential search with a broker instead then. VPs are never hired randomly off a job posting
There are several levels of VPs at salesforce. Lowest level is considered level 11 I believe. Not sure what an RVP is. We have VP, SVP, EVP and then C level people. Unclear what you are going for and the comments above are right. This is not a good place to get info. Stock comp varies a lot

Why would a senior exec be asking about comps on blind?
Why not?!?! Knowledge is power, is it not???
Because if you are that senior, shouldn’t you have enough industry connections to find out that kind of info?
