Purely from a SWE/Engineering perspective Amazon is a great company. You get to work on challenging problems daily , work with some great engineers and you end up learning a lot.
But now, a ton of experienced engineers and other seniors are leaving due to bad work culture and outdated LP’s
Amazon LP’s are as outdated as the GunLaws in this country and Amazon as a company needs a complete culture change.
Get rid of pip culture , get rid of shitty LP’s that contradict each other , get rid of stack ranking employees, improve benefits and get rid of senior leadership with Bezos mentality and Amazon can become one of the best companies

Unfortunately, Amazon leadership like Andy Jassy and co are too afraid to change anything. They made their billions while mentaly torturing workers, and they don't believe the company will be profitable otherwise despite there being hundreds of examples to the contrary. All they do is ignore the problem and say some nonsense about vocal minority. Keep doing it, morons. In a few years you will have to pay half a mil for a college hire.
