Joined a company on Dec 6

Company got acquired a year or two ago and is in the process of switching everyone to the new hr system

Company runs payroll 2x a month 15/30th

“First check will be mailed”

Check every day since Dec 15 .. no check. … can’t enroll in benefits online or my 401k

“Benefits start on first of proceeding month joined” wtf is this penny pinching shit

It sux because my two kids and mrs got sick and I’m paying everything out of pocket for everything

Follow up with HR this past Monday.. “when am I going to get paid?”

Tuesday an email goes around from distro list to distro list.. “what’s the deal , can you follow up?”

Get an email from my mgr today forwarded by argentina service center, “fill this out immediately”

I noticed that the email got sent to my mgr and me at my name@newcompany.com instead of my current email with a pdf job aid from some argentian service center stating if you want to get paid on Jan 15 22, you must complete all tasks by Monday

Instructions state make sure you use this workday link and fill out all your info.

Hrmmm.. I reply all .. send screenshots of me clicking the right workday link.. I only have one link and another of empty queue of tasks ..

Get a reply all from argentina .. “if you completed ALL the tasks” thanks.. passing the buck to another hr distro list saying “can you follow up?”

Promptly I replied

Here’s the screenshot again.. please confirm if you received… no response

Entire company is off next week .. so yah …

Didnt get a signing bonus …

Tc = 0 supposed to be $225k

If I was buying a house I’d be completely effed

I’m living off credit cards as of now and have a mortgage and car payment coming up ..

At this point, I’m preparing for the fact that I could not get paid till Jan 30 .. close to 2 months …

Wtf do I do?

I’m about to just go get another job that’ll give me benefits on day 1
