SWE Referral
Hello beautiful people from Blind. I am a Grad student in CS from a top 10 school & am graduating in Dec'18. I am looking for full time SWE roles & seeking referrals in the following companies (no particular order as such) LinkedIn Lyft Cruise Uber Apple Oscar Stripe Square Twitter Robinhood Paypal etc .. Asking for this companies, coz most of these companies do not visit the campus career fairs. Also have a intern conversion @ 150k TC, Seattle. Currently interviewing with Two Sigma for SWE. I appreciate if people could help & I am open to consider other companies too. Please comment if you are open to giving a referral or I am happy to chat about my background as well. :)
Congrats! People in bay area get around 150K TC as new grads. Getting that for seattle is a pretty sweet deal!

We definitely visit all top 10 school’s career fairs just sayin.. Also I don’t understand people who asks for referral on the internet. It’s not how any of this works. If I’ve worked with you / know you’re a solid engineer I’ll naturally refer you, or you can remind me when you need it. But I don’t know you.. I can’t put my credibility on the line to refer you. Few hundred RSUs isn’t worth my credibility. I mean some people do it because they like money more. But not me, not a lot of people.. Forget the shortcut, if you’re asking for one on blind you probably don’t have any solid shortcut. Just try your best to prepare and you’ll be fine.
Yes I clarified with saying *most*. Uber & Lyft do.
I’ve definitely seen most of these companies in the lineup... I went to UW, MIT and Harvard last year...

The OP just lacks common sense or they need a referral because their people skills caused them to get blackballed. That’s a wild guess. Don’t mind me!
