What's the pay like for crypto jobs?

Not talking about being an engineer on Kraken or CB. What is the pay like for a DeFi dev, smart contract developer, smart contract auditor, etc.?

It varies wildly depending on how much experience you have in crypto. If you don't have crypto experience, you need to be pretty good in Rust.

I know a guy who has six years of experience in crypto and he's making about 1.5 million a year.

Keeper has 220-700 listed for eng. Senior is like around 400 I think. This is all coin straight to a wallet. You’ll have to figure out taxes and benefits yourself.

If you’re a solidity dev or an auditor with decent experience you should easily expect close to a mil if not more.

Very good from what I’ve heard but also very risky.

I assume trying to make your own successful Defi protocol would be as risky if not riskier than making your own startup.

I think auditing contracts is in the same lines of doing bug bounties. If you're good you can make a lot of money and be fairly sustainable

NFT projects... decent art, a community manager and really good marketing will probably net you a lot of crypto, even if you don't mint out

Auditors have very lucrative careers. If you are experienced you can easily charge 300-500 an hour.
