A recruiter from Palantir messaged me and we had an interview not that long ago. As many in my situation, I get loads of interview requests from many companies (which I ignore or just say no). But Palantir seems to have pretty interesting products from what I could assess from ads so I decided to say yes for a short interview. Anyone able to share any insights on comp, WLB, perks, benefits, WFH policy, vacations, feature ownership, performance review process, career growth prospects, etc etc?

I'm not looking to move out of G soon or anything like that but Palantir got me curious.

  • Which product got you curious? Project Maven? Seems like they take surveilance to the levels yet unreached by FB and G.

    • OP is right. Yes our software is used in military and intelligence work (always puzzled by people who would rather have worse software with less auditability and control in these circumstances) but in any case even if you hate on the US Pal is actually used way more in Scandinavia gov context because we're the only software that meets their privacy reqs. On top of all that, most of our business is not with the US gov and we do tons of interesting work across many industries

    • +1 people always jump to gov work but forget about the number of people that work on commercial teams.

Their interview process is good imo. Long but they get to know you deeply.
