Salary for Engineering Manager M1 @ facebook?
What is the average salary for an M1 at FB/Instagram? Are we looking at 200k/y base salary, 15-20% annual bonus, $100k RSU? Is there a way to get a signing bonus?
SWE M1 in the US? Should be 195-220 salary, 20% bonus target (fixed/non-negotiable, final multiplier depends on perf rating). Equity and sign on depends on competing offers and how bad they want you. Wide range, but 600k-1M equity over 4 years for M1. If not SWE but some other kind of “Engineering” equity could be significantly less.
A friend got 220 base, 20% bonus, 1mil/4years, 100k sign on at FB for IC6/M1 level in SWE so above comment is spot on!
That’s pretty much top of the range. Not everyone can be in the 95th percentile.
I agree.. 600-1000 RSU is probably a good estimate. Everything else is the same for most offers
