Instead of asking for salary ranges. Why don’t you tell us how much is your offer? That way people can tell you if it is good for the col or not. Also remeber taxes in germany are around 42% (if you make more than 60k i believe...you can check online)

50k in Europe is a good salary!

How can you survive with that?

I’m moving there and there is no way I would sign for 50k a year. You will be just paying the rent with that. No savings. Aim for a 70-80k TC at bear minimum. Just tell them taxes there are super high and you are saving $X a year now and don’t want to see a drop in your savings...or something like that.

OMG. To all the people saying 50K for Germany is good. IT is NOT. It is terrible. it is only worth considering if you are straight out of school and Single. I came on 54K in 2013 and that has ruined me financially. You can only buy a home and a Car if you have a partner wo is earning decently. else you will just live a life of shattered dreams here, like me. and I came in 2013. Buying a house here in the RMV region is almost impossible.
