I am expecting to get an offer from Salesforce. Recruiter said that it’s a Director level (L9?) position with lot of visibility. What kind of comp (Base/Sign-on/stocks) can I expect? As per recruiter, bonus is 20% at this level. I may also get an offer from Google however I am more interested in Salesforce given the job profile. If I am at a point where I negotiate based on Google’s offer, does salesforce ask for the proof of offer, and is it okay to share a snapshot of a competing offer? Thanks! YOE: 18 TC: very low

What level are you expecting at Google? If it is a L6, chances are that Google offer will be better than Salesforce. Salesforce may try to get exceptions to grant you more than pre “great resignation” RSUs but your chances of getting refreshes are quite low at the end of year-1. Post numbers when you have them to get more info.
I am shocked with the most recent offers at salesforce. But, refreshers are a common issue among everyone working here.

I would expect Salesforce offer to be at least 30% greater than Google. Otherwise don’t sweat! Google is and will always be a better brand compared to Salesforce. Also Salesforce doesn’t do refreshers easily so there is a risk. My 2 cents! Also if you are joining Tableau it’s a crazy work culture with incompetent leaders from Amazon.

Congratulations OP, unfortunately I’ve nothing to advise here but I’m curious how interviews at such senior roles are usually conducted and what do they look like? I’m someone with 6-7 years of experience and wanting to grow in my career so any advice is appreciated.
I will share it after I know the outcome. Interview experience was very different and not sure if it was specific to this team.
