What can we expect? Are we going to move to Salesforce benefits completely or Tableau gets to keep its own benefits?
Salesforce will get Tableau benefits 😉
Haha, that’s a wishful thinking.
Salesforce benefits are not that bad. Unlimited vacation, 6 months of family leave, unlimited VTO time, flexible on telecommuting, great work life balance, etc, etc.
Aetna
There is UHC that you can do instead of Aetna (thank god)
Unlimited vacation?!! Not for everyone!!
Curious, what benefits does tableau offer?
Healthcare plan is one of the best in tech if not the best. Premera has amazing coverage & negotiated rates for our plan. 3 weeks vacation, 2 weeks sick, 9 days holiday, 2 floating leaves. Commute subsidy - $275 per month. Loads of free food.
And until this year we paid nothing for our insurance..tableau covered it all. Now its 5$ out of each paycheck or something small like that. Low deductible $200, low OOP max $1500. 45 massages per year. Healthcare is basically free.
At RelateIQ, benefits slowly got taken away over time – around 3-4 years later, most original benefits were gone or replaced.
Yep- SF will slowly fuck with, kill, and replace the culture and benefits of most (all?) companies it aquires. It's not all terrible but often things start changing/get taken away little by little. It seems petty to worry about things you no longer have as they are taken away because LOOK AT ALL THESE OTHER SHINY THINGS YOU GET #OHANA.... Fast forward five years and the sum of all those petty changes aren't so petty
What benefits did RelateIQ have? The only one I heard about was food from Fraiche.
Be prepared to move over to Salesforce benefits
Which are much better than Mulesoft ever offered.
Never said it wasn’t
I miss blue Cross blue shield to be honest
It will suck if Salesforce takes over benefits, no more free food and other perks
There’s free food at tableau?
Yeah, breakfast lunch is on the house
