I am being pinged for a PM role at Salesforce, and the position is for either Director or Senior Director of Product. IC role for now. What is the comp range one can expect for either of these titles? Something other than tree fiddy I hope. Current TC: 275k

Does msft really pay this low?
Top of grade 9 (director) is 230-250ish usually with 200/4 or so and a 20% bonus target. Unsure on grade 10 base but bonus % moves to 25. That’s for a strong IC Principal (grade equivalent to director).
Three fiddy is actually about right for a director. PM directors are ICs. That is equivalent to a principal engineer. Senior directors can go up to 500
Thanks for the feedback! Glassdoor hasn’t been helpful at all for this.
Location matters. If you are young the pay will be lower. Salesforce claims to not pay tenure tax. This is simply not true. Fast risers are poorly compensated relative to their peers at the same level.
Grade 9, I make ~tree fiddy TC. So, ironically that is in the range
Haha yup. That’s what I said too. Glad we agree.
I was a grade 10 and came in at around $425k.
Tc? Ic or manager?
Management role TC, with RSU valued at $72/share. Would be closer to $550k now.
Wow inflated titles much? an L6 PM at FB makes what a Sr Director makes at salesforce ! By that logic, a director of Pm at FB (TC 700-1.1M) should be an SVP/C-level at SFDC
How much of negotiation room is there on rsu and base for these positions ?
I’m exploring a Senior Dir PM role with a significant amount of leadership required in Seattle. Would $400k be a reasonable target?
How is a director or sn. director an IC. Inflated titles much?
Many have reports. I don’t - at least not for now.
