I'm planning on joining Salesforce soon, and the stock has dropped significantly since I accepted the offer. Do you know when the number of RSUs gets calculated? I'm hoping it's not some 60-day trailing average since it's around the 52-week low these days. Also, does Salesforce refresh if the stock tanks? SF TC: $370k #salesforce
How many yoe? Is it lmts or pmts offer? Sorry I don’t have input to your question
This is a remote LMTS offer, MCOL area.
Thanks.
Not sure what you mean by number of RsU. Before accepting the offer weren’t you given a certain number of RsU?
The RSUs were given as a cash value, so I'm wondering when I'd know what the number of shares would compute to.
Ah I see. Makes sense. Sorry I don’t have any input. Have you tried to ask the recruiter?
Here is the official response from my recruiter: How is monetary equity value converted to a number of Restricted Stock Unit shares? The number of RSU shares is calculated as follows: Number of RSU shares = Grant value in USD divided by the average closing sale price of one share of Salesforce (CRM) common stock as reported on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) during the two calendar months preceding the month in which the RSUs are granted. Example: If shares are granted in May, the average closing sale price for the months of March and April will be used to calculate the share price used to calculate the total RSU shares.
Thanks that’s very Informative
But when is this grant date/month?
Hey OP, Can you provide the breakdown of your offer? and exact location if possible?
Sorry, just saw this. Level: LMTS Base: $250k Bonus: 15% ($37,575) RSUs: $261k / 4 years TC: $353k (no refreshers, and not sure what TC is after 4 years) DC area
Can’t speak to Salesforce specifically, but it’s generally a 30 or 60 day trailing average leading up to the first board meeting after your grant date
