For salesforce onsite interview, can I use Python? Used c++ last time, but the interviewer seemed no familiar with c++ that much. I heard that salesforce mainly favorites Java for coding interview. Is it true? Thanks!
I would say do java or c# if you can
Safesforce has a Bellevue office?
duuh. Couple of blocks from MSFT City Center building.
You can use whichever language you would like to. Engineers evaluating your code usually look at the data model, object oriented design etc. Most people get rejected because of the bad design. At Salesforce most of the engineers do code in java unless you join one of the acquisitions.
do Salesforce engineers consider themselves happier than folks working elsewhere? If so I might consider applying in a few years.
It depends on whom you ask. Salesforce has a good work life balance and you do get to work with a lot of smart people (there are many average/below average people as well). Only problem is that you don’t get much equity or stock refresh. I was very excited to join the company and got to learn so much, but after 5 years I am kinda over it.
Depends on the team etc, but C++ or Python should be ok. Some people choose C, it is OK too. I'd recommend Python because it is less verbose but it is up to your level of comfort with the language.
What is ur current role at Msft ? Why are u wanting to leave Msft ?
How is this even relevant to this topic? Sounds like a Microsoft recruiter lol
