Our attrition rates are at an all time high, by a considerable margin. The company's compensation does not compare to the industry. They don't want us to know this. We're witnessing a mass exodus of our good devs, and management is panicking hard. They've literally taken to creating multiple Blind accounts, and are going through as a group, reporting every post/message that talks about leaving because they got a better offer elsewhere. This is insane. Do yourselves a favor and stay away. We won't pay market rate, and all you'd do is work on legacy tech debt. Our cloud initiative is a mismanaged farce where you won't actually be learning cloud anything, just adjusting config files in abstraction layers. We fired our best security team a few years ago for doing their job, because management went on an arbitrary ego power trip. We just threw a single dev under the bus in the media a few weeks ago for an outage, while simulatenously claiming we weren't. Hell, at this point I'm surprised Salesforce didn't dox him. And now... now Salesforce is trying to bully us into silence. Just, just stay away. We'll come join you soon. I'm not sure what's changed, but something is definitely different.

Dev life seems to be easy enough. Can’t speak to the tech of monolith as I don’t work on that side of the business. Some big hurdles in terms of integration into SalesForce and some internal culture wars, plus a bit of a class divide between dev and every line else. Probably an interesting change of pace for a few years tho.

Thanks to Covid, Salesforce got a big push but seems like their both engineering and management infrastructure isn’t able to scale because their infrastructure foundation is kinda old/legacy. Clearly, they doing a bad job that instead of reading blind and fixing the mentioned issues, they rather taking post down. Seems like some oppressive government style stunt.
"Kinda"? I mean yeah it's not really that old any more. We even upgraded to centOS 7 like 2 years ago! Yay us! Python 2.7 is modern. Right? RIGHT? We have tons of data centers all over the world with cool hardware in them!

Qualcomm is a hardware company. Many folks are moving to apple and other companies due to higher pay. But I don’t think management is trying to cover up on blind or in other places. Could you explain more on your comment?
