Salesforce in Dallas, TX is paying more than here at AWS in Seattle.
How about considering cost of living. Offer itself is 20% more.
@AMZN23/OP - what level at Amazon are you referring to?, some more details would be helpful.
Aws L4 and getting MTS at Salesforce.
@AMZN23 - definitely surprising that the Salesforce offer is net better. I'd still say that Seattle will give you more future opportunities, as well as if you have Amazon RSUs then their growth potential is still solid (even if not as good as what's it been in last 3-4 years)..so imho Amazon is still good pick. All da best!
Salesforce is paying more in SF based on the offer I get. Usually you get higher title as well. Benefits is also better.
Any idea about team at Dallas? They just started with something called flex team. That’s inhouse consulting type of model for Salesforce Developers.
Cost of living in Texas would be 70% of seattle
How about Dallas downtown. Apartment rent looks almost similar. Not a big big difference.
Dallas is not much cheaper unless you live 50 miles away
Dallas is a shit place to live. Edit: I will say the gender ratio is way better in Dallas. If you like your girls blonde, Christian, into football, and slightly chunky then you can clean up in Dallas.
I am more concerend about the company and career.
How is the commute in Dallas?
What is offer details?
Dallas? Oreally? That’s interesting.
If you want to build services than AWS. And if you want write class name with Service name then join Salesforce. AWS developers are in great demand in throughout the industry. You must not pass on AWS opportunity unless you are passing it for Facebook or Google. It is more valuable than your undergrad and master.
