I was refered for a high leadership position by a few emoloyees. The recruiter reached out saying she has passed my resume to the hiring manager for feedback. No phone screening whatsoever. is that normal? any experiences?
If hiring manager is interested in your resume, he/she will reach out for a phone call. What role btw?

Sr Director / VP of Engineering role. So it is common to be contacted by the hiring manager without recruiter screening? Or for recruiters to send resumes to hiring manager for referrals without screening?
For these roles, there really is no screening at this point. If HM is interested, recruiter will then reach out to hear about you and setup call with HM
