Will be starting at salesforce soon as a amts. How much will my base change as I get promoted to mts and Smts? I'm at 125k right now. I know salesforce is stingy with refreshes but realistically how much can I expect?
I think promo to mts is around 10% or more based on what I’ve heard
 🐌 🏇
No it’s not. It’s more realistic if thats combined with the merit increase, not promo by itself
Location ? And years of experience?
I'm LMTS and make 171k base now. Started at 110k MTS.
Having a pulse with minimal contribution will get you promoted from AMTS in relatively short order (sadly) but your bump in pay is dictated by how well you code. 7-10% for breathing. 10% for good work. 10-15%%+ if you actually earn it
So most profitable option is just breathing
will there be stock refreshers?
I don’t know what org you’re coming from but the % increase is more about where the candidate is in the band than it is being good at anything. It is also sometimes swayed by which promotion cycle coz if they are bundled together sometimes it affects the % of the one that happened last
I started at 110k as amts now mts - 135k
Expect ~10% with each promotion, unless you are a super star or your manager is. Started at 145 as SMTS few years back, at 180 now as a LMTS. Still very low and feel like new hires are way in better position. Considering to move to a different company, even I like it here.
I'm trying very hard to get promoted to MTS in one year, my salary only increases 8%, my org is one of the core service, I heard people get promoted faster and more increase in salary from infra
I know this is an old post but promotion is for title, not for comp, the goal of promo is for you to get better comp from better position in ur next jump
