Anyone knows what the security team in Seattle is working on? Are they expanding the team?
They are working on security.
They are developing a secret elixir from the blood of the young and the bones of the wealthy.
they hired a new EVP from microsoft ; Jim Elkove to lead the security org. Complete @$$hole of a person from what i’ve heard people working under him. If you’re looking for proof, just look up LinkedIn and see how many senior security people including the CISO, director and above left their security org, see how they fired their top pen testers for presenting at Blackhat and tons of other shit for which i’d never work there. Sales force overall has a great culture though but products are boring
They also have Benioff’s dog as Chief Love Officer so that’s a thing.
You have no idea what you're talking about and are just spouting off inaccurate shit you've "heard from a friend". I work under Jim and he's not an asshole. And our "top pen testers" weren't fired for presenting at BH. Bonehead.
Tell us your social security number or GTFO
Any upside of the team? Is cloud infrastructure team a much better choice?
i know their security team not infra so can’t comment ... salesforce cloud is boring compared to microsoft or aws
There is no more single ‘cloud infrastructure team’. They are all assimilated within other teams after the reorg. The security group is intact and many are in Seattle. I would say this would be a good time to join the security group as they have plenty of interesting initiatives.
