Salesforce vs. Amazon NLP Research Position
Got an offer from both. Assume compensation is equally good, I am confused which one to go for? As a researchers it is likely that in Amazon, I won't be able to publish much. In Salesforce, I will be able to publish actively but I felt that their research is less connected with the product which means less stability.

Is it disruptive to team productivity? I am not sure how much politics is there in Amazon but overall their repute is quite bad in terms of work culture
Yeah it is disruptive as collaboration isn’t good across teams and there are a lot of duplications and inefficiencies
Guys from Amazon, I have read mostly bad things about Amazon culture. However, for Salesforce research position/culture, there is not many data points on the internet. Can you guys be a bit explicit on how do you see that their culture is brutal?
Which company did you join? I am in a similar position as you and will appreciate your feedback.
Amazon culture is brutal and cut throat. Not sure about SF.
