Heard Sarc hire kids out of college with no strong experience. Most experienced guy are leaving. Management hates to hire or retain experienced engineer who are harder to fool. People who join a sinking ship (from 2019) are desperate. Most of the smarts is from Amd I heard. Everyone know how incompetent SARC management is.
I'm not sure where you heard that but as far as I know after working here for last 3 years, I have worked with some really smart engineers mostly experienced guys. I haven't seen many new grads being hired. Your comment about AMD providing all the smarts is pretty baseless. But I agree with your comment about management to some degree. The layoffs last year were pretty bad. However, the CPU layoffs were handled very well in my opinion. They all got at least 3 months notice and severance etc. And luckily, the market was also quite strong for HW jobs and everybody got placed and many I know had multiple offers. In the end it was all fine.

Is this for Austin or Bay Area? Upper end of 150k is a little low for 8+ yoe
They also did layoffs in bay area as well from what i know in gpu team. Now they are hiring again for same team!
25% gpu team cut with less than 2 week payroll.. They were all lined up In a game room I heard. All hail Samsung Austin!! A team of Truthful (Liars)!
