I used to live in SD. Live in Seattle now. SD awesome but as far as outdoor activities go, it's just the beach. Seattle has it all in terms of outdoor life. SD weather beats any city though fo sho.

How did you make the determination that SF has better Mexican food than SD?
Lots of fun in SD and great work/life balance in general. Major tech presences are Intuit, Qualcomm and Sony. Though Google and others are starting to open up shop there too.
