I’m born and raised in San Francisco. Have loved the hustle and bustle of the city and all the city had to offer. I’m a single mom with a 5 year old and I’m sad that all he sees is homeless and mentally ill people roaming around. I want to leave since we are wfh til February 2021 but I’m not sure what I can afford. Any ideas on Bay Area housing? What about San Diego? Open to renting or buying. Away from the Bay Area and backwards Liberal policies
Don't hear this yahoo guy. He has been renoved from this app many times and returns with new accounts. He is often banned due to his square head mentality and excessive ass kising of Orangeman
How would you know they were banned?
With 180k you can pretty much go anywhere you want
How about just moving to suburbs? Walnut Creek, Santa Clara, San Ramon, Berkeley are all great places.
Still very pricey
@soGW71 heard from my friend that Santa Rosa, Benicia is good. Prices are reasonable. What about Portland, Phoneix, SLC? I wouldn’t think much, as all of these cities have tech population concentration and suburbs with tech population. I recommend suburbs as schooling districts would be good so does the crime rate.
Contra Costa county is cheap and has BART into SF
Benicia CA. Trust me you’ll thank me later
Out of curiosity, what neighborhood in SF do you live in?
Good to learn life lessons while young. Misery is part of life. Maybe he will grow to become Buddha
Santa Barbara.
February 2022 is less than 6 months away. Unless that’s a typo and you mean Feb 2022 that’s a lot of moving effort for still not being able to get a long term lease. What’s the plan when you have to return to work in 5 months?
Definitely lots of moving effort and not sure what to do without a long term wfh Mandate
How about checking zillow, redfin or realtor.com for house prices? Rentals you can check craigslist or hotpads app
Have and the prices are holding steady
Not for rentals. Rent dropped like ~30% for new contracts (your case)
