Is the decrease in cost of living worth the pay cut involved in moving to Denver? Seems like the former is supposed to be 30% and the latter is 20%. I think the main areas i will see a difference are in rent and in state income taxes (9 to 4%) but I dont pay a lot in rent now (1200).
If you can pay cash for a house in Denver - go for it. Lots of work, good people, great food, awesome weather.
Denver is a great city to live in
COL, Dating Scope, Car Required, Extreme Weather: Denver >> SJ Money, Job Hopping, Beaches, Food, Decent Weather: SJ >> Denver Traffic, Nature: SJ == Denver
There’s no much traffic it denver. Food better in Denver. Great steaks and farmer’s products. The cost of living cheaper and you can make there 200+ and live like a king.
Probably! IMO, Denver ain't ready for rapid population expansion. Same food gets boring, I like variety. YMMV. Great point on the COL, I assumed it's common knowledge.

Opportunities are less in Denver for tech. Nothing compares to the amount of tech jobs with multiple HQ in bay area
