Scope creek- suggestions

Hi guys,

we are delivering cloud solutions for a customer. The client manager focus more on adding more features into the applications which is not part of initial sign off and not flexible on deadlines either. do you have recommendations on reaching amicable solutions ?

pls note, we tried escalating saying that this would affect our final delivery deadline and management is not gery responsive either?

  • Boy that's so easy. Just tell your client that the new feature X takes time T to implement and offer them to throw away features Y or Z. If they don't negotiate the timeline, they can probably negotiate scope and/or quality. If they won't budge in on any of that, you'll be happier if you just walk away from the table.
