Does anyone set aside a chunk of time where they disconnect a bit? Organically or structured? What is your experience
I'm thinking about it
U r blinding about it. On a screen :)
I call it digital fasting. Do it often.
I do it in a few different ways I’ve done this are: 1.) 10 day silent meditation vipassana retreat 2.) 1x a month go phone/computer/screen free for a day 3.) month long trip to Costa Rica without any type of screens besides my camera. 4.) I usually break my day into workshops/chunks of which a few 3 hour sessions a week are screen free Obviously I keep doing it, so I get lots of positive outcomes from it like helping me mentally reset, energetically feel more refreshed, make space for creativity and connection, etc. Tip: let your friends/family know that you are going tech free if you do it for longer than a day and you normally communicate with them daily.
I go to silent meditation (Vipassana) retreat every now and then It's not only sceeenless. It's speechless. U see People. But no speaking. Spend all day in meditation. Mindfulness meditation. It's something that doesn't require u to sit in a certain pose. U practice it throughout the day.
Going to a 10 day vipassana retreat has been really reseting for me. Highly recommend it!
