That type of MBA management theory is too simplistic of a linear and closed system to describe real software engineering at many larger, cross-functional tech companies. Modern work arrangements are unlike factory operations from the 1800s, and unfortunately they are fragile frameworks in practice.
Yes, except I actually did that work myself for the past 15 years and only picked up agile in the last 5. I don’t have an issue with the methodology, I just wanted to know which one you followed for large scale programs. Also don’t have an MBA and no I didn’t work for Accenture or PWC.
We do quarterly planning and weekly standup.
