Not hard in tech but I believe you’d have to play the H1B lottery for Norway

It seems like that is my only option then. Any idea of what the TC is in UK? 50% of the US TC?

Probably 50-70% depending on the company

  • Apply for annual GC lottery. I think Norwegian citizens may be eligible.

I recommend finding a faang job in Europe then moving with a L1 visa later since that skips the Lottery

  • You are from Norway. Apparantly there are way too less of your people so immigration should be relatively easier. Best of luck for your American dreams πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Not how it works. Pretty much rest of world is on the same page, only India and China and a couple others have a harder time

Its pretty tough. I'd recommend working for the company in norway then transferring internally after 1year using L1B transfer. Even better if you're a manager or executive and can leverage the L1A visa. L1A visa has a extremely fast and straightforward path to permanent residency.
