Haha, I was doing On-call in my previous role and I loved it. I'm working on getting certs for AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes within the next 3 months. I use AWS, CentOS 7, Docker, Python, Golang, Packer, Ansible and Terraform in my current role. So in a way I feel like I'm already heading on the path of a DevOps or SRE. I want more craziness! Haha

  Try C1 as they use k8s , aws and golang . Devops in c1 needs golang experience though for writing different tools and infrastructure.I will refer you.

  Yep, but most of them hate the ops part 🙂.. even pure play ops guys like support engineers , sysdev engg guys also I have seen wanted to move to SA or other roles.. not all teams have global presence and ops/on call for them like paging at 2:00 a.m is a nightmare 🙂
