KOMO News: Seattle named No. 1 city in nation with best public transportation. http://komonews.com/news/local/seattle-named-no-1-city-in-nation-with-best-public-transportation "Boston, San Francisco, Washington DC and Madison rounded out the Top 5."
This is a joke. I'm all for public transportation and whenever possible I use it, but Seattle is really terrible at it. The buses are ALWAYS late after 4:30pm.
Sure, it's great if you live on broadway 5 minutes from light rail and work in Pioneer square 8 minutes from light rail .. still plenty of other places where it's absolutely useless compared to say, new York..
So you mean in rain (mostly) you use public transport?
I’m sorry, what? The buses are never on time, and just the other day, my wife had a bus not even stop for her to get on.
Is this a joke? Sf public translation blows.
Wait they are finally expanding on what they promised 20 years ago. I left Seattle because of lack of lightrail. Living in Picnic Point was legit a pain of a commute. Like I would enjoy the ferry's for my weekends and go out to the islands, but their bus system was a pain and the timeline for commute was too much on public system.
Seattle's PR staff is working overtime this month.

Best LCOL or MCOL city?
I've lived in Seattle, SF, Boston, and DC. Hard to believe Seattle outranks DC and Boston.
