I'm currently a master student at one of the big names in East coast and was a software engineering intern at Microsoft last year. For the technical side, I have some experiences building projects with MERN stacks with MSFT/startup/hackathons/side-projects. Once organized and ran a hackathon for students and love front-end/full-stack web projects. I'm now looking for an SWE/Full-stack web internship for the summer of 2019. Slack, Robinhood, Cisco Meraki and Airbnb are the ones I'm dreaming to work at. Let me know if anyone works there and willing to help. Would love to send my resume over. Thanks!
What about Slack interests you?
I'm very interested in the way people work, communicate and collaborate. I'd love to make it as collaborative, open and borderless as possible. I personally do believe it is something that we really get to redefine in our generation, especially in the next 5 - 10 years. Plus, I used to maintain a technical blog with someone worked at Slack. He really enjoyed his time there but eventually chose to go back to home country and work on his own startup.
Why not Microsoft Teams? They do similar things.
What makes you special? Going to a big name school doesn't make you a great candidate. Reflect your qualities and what you bring to the table on your resume.
I totally agree. I'm just not sure how much I can disclose on Blind - But you're right, let me add some more points. Sorry if I sounded arrogant by saying "big names", didn't mean that.
Easy my friend. Easy.
