I didn't watch the office so I'll take a pass regardless of where I work. Anyone excited for NBC's version? I'm honestly meh...Comment with a meh face if that's what your feeling! https://techcrunch.com/2019/07/25/nbcuniversal-plans-to-launch-its-streaming-service-in-april-2020/
Just more integration work for platforms with add-ons.
Meh. I’ll likely get Netflix + Disney + Amazon Prime(which I already have but not for video). People have limited time for tv.
Serious question: what is Netflix differentiator against other services?
Original programming. I get it OTT of cable (which the fracturing of streaming is becoming a good deal with single sign on for all the different services) for shows original to Netflix.
100% meh, but I'll use it since I'll probably get it for free. I know it all has to do with getting more $, but I wish all tv streaming just went thru Netflix / Hulu / Amazon.. tired of having 1000 subscriptions
Didn’t NBC do this in 2008. NBC Direct it was called. Didn’t work then. Won’t work now. No one knows what the fuck an NBC is that’s under 40.
Do you worry about the competition? NBC is a joke but the disney+espn one looks like it could be a real threat just based on the library (anyone with kids will subscribe) and broadcasting rights for live sports.
Technically, it is disney+espn+hulu, but we will see how it plays out
Plus Fox
