Lol.. Don't listen to their BS. The best company I've ever worked for. Voted one of top 100 companies to work for in some list recently. Yes they made some bad decisions, what company hasn't but share prices are still at an all time high. Everyone loves to hate on EA but if you can look past the internet comments I'd highly recommend working there.
Can't help but notice whenever someone asks "what is it like to work at X?" people respond with reviews based on how they are doing in the media. Wtf does that have to do with working anywhere?
Can't help but notice you can't read: op is asking for salary, not how it is to work there. And my response had nothing to do with how it is to work there but rather how well the company will be doing in the coming years which, for an entertainment company is tightly linked to media opinion
Don’t listen to the people who don’t even work at EA. I have worked at EA Austin for over two years and they are one of the best employers I have ever worked for. Our health insurance is the best I’ve ever had, most senior positions start with hefty RSU sums and the pay is above average for the area. I think for a senior DevOps position you would be looking somewhere between 115-130K base +15% bonus +RSU.
Thanks very informative - any ballpark on rsu’s ?
I’d say you’d be looking at between 150-750 RSUs. It varies over time and by position.
The event fiasco with the latest star wars game and the company's generally awful track record in the past years it's starting to catch up to them and rumors are Disney is considering switching. This doesn't answer your question but it's important to note the company's best days may be behind them.
This... Their PR is terrible, I wouldn't even consider them because they're a scummy company.
