For a series d/e, what % of shares would you get if you are offered a Senior director role in a series D/E?
D/E doesn’t say much anymore, it depends on the valuation. If you’re talking about a company with 800m-1B valuation and say 50-100 SWE, my expectation for a sr director tech role would be .1-.2%. VPE (assuming there is only 1) would be more like .5%. For non tech divide by 2 or 3. FWIW if they are still giving options, do diligence on the strike price to current valuation. If it’s too close to market you could be in for a world of hurt down the road
It is a business role. Valued at $3B+. Leading a team of 12-15 people
It is a SaaS company. Any additional guidance based on the above details.

0.2-0.5%. series D is late AF.
What does AF stand for?
This role is in the business GTM side - not PM/engineering. Would that lead to a lower %?
