Job market is horrible.
Im being offer 122k for senior dev at home depot. Is this reasonable? The location is at there headquarter. I worry cause i need to drive 70mile back and forth and it not enough to cover all my expense.
How many RSUs?
Not exactly sure. I no they have espp
I get ~20k RSUs per year. 0,50,0,50 schedule
Anyone with good number in atl for senior dev?
I think that’s a pretty good offer. Their range for that role is $110k - $130k
Do they offer sign bonus?
I worked at their dev center in Austin. The problem with THD is they build everything in-house, lots of on-call and tons of consulting companies that don’t know what the fuck they are doing running around. I’d stay the hell away if you value solving challenging problems, career velocity and overall sanity.
Wow. Could it just one particular team or location? The lead i talk to seems like a smart guy. I think i could at least pick up new tools and system design principles and architecting skill. Do you think its not even worth trying doing that?
Which team made that offer? Home Depot in Atlanta can be good if you’re on a good team. There’s some neat ML applications going on in different parts.
And WLB is very good
This is wms. And ill be working on new wms system they are just starting
Lol its hard to find decent dev shop in ATL. They are supposedly converted there tech stack to lastest and everything is getting built in-house. Also lots of new projects starting
Pandora is hiring crazy right now in Atlanta.
