At a company at a similar level, I was offered 155k base + 80k rsu (over 4 years) + bonus of 20% making it a maximum of 205k. I have 4 years of experience. I’m not sure if that’s the market rate...

I think 190-230.Could go upto 250.Above 250 would be tough.Also for a lot of these companies stock options would be worthless so your looking at an actual TC of 180-190
That low? I'm talking 5-8 YOE as a Machine Learning Engineer (post-PhD/MS).
I know for a fact some of these companies pay more than 230 in base alone!
