Always see posts about Managers that don't serve as a source of knowledge/direction and would rather use Direct Reports as stepping stones. Curious what everyone feels about this as a solution to this gap. If you disagree, please provide a suggestion below. Feedback should be anonymous, and consistent negative feedback (or alarming feedback) should result in an investigation which can lead to losing 'managerial' status (basically a demotion).

Actually I would say that is the responsibility of a Leader, a Manager simply wants the task completed at any cost (other than to his/herself).
