Should I Choose Amazon?

Maybe TLDR. To be clear, all the awful stories I’ve read on here about Amazon make me want to steer clear. However, I’m a recruiter and they are working with this contracting group to produce a training/feeder program. The program would allow me to grow and enhance skills I need as a recruiter. It’s a contract but full time hours for 3 months and I would get paid my current rate, so no loss. I would get to do more of what I’m used to doing to an extent and it’ll land me an interview with the company. At Microsoft, on contract, I’m only doing one recruiter piece so it’s setting me back some BUT it’s not Amazon. Should I choose Amazon? Or stay at Microsoft?

    Yes take it, horrible stories are just for SWEs and Tech people, who are either lazy or cannot work in fast paced environment with such a large tech stack. Managers, Operations, finance guys, HRs from what I know are killing there. Pay is good, work is manageable and challenging with impact. Go ahead and don’t see back.
