Hi all,
I recently received ITA for express entry PR(skilled workers). I am not sure but if I submit the documents right now, I think I'll probably get the PR within year and half(again just guessing)
However I am not sure about moving to Canada for the next few years or so and we need to stay in Canada for 2 years(every 5 years ) to maintain the residency status.
Also I have heard that if you fail to meet that criteria it gets hard to get the PR again.
Does anyone here has applied for a PR again after it got expired due to not meeting the PR requirements and has successfully got it ? #canada

You will get PR in 6 months, then need to go to Canada within 60 days, then go there and get a PR card valid for 5 years.
But to maintain, you will need to move within 3 years else it will be invalid.
Why you made an express entry profile if you didn't intended to move?
You will lose your PR status. Consider PR as a visa status, like H1B. If you void it, you will have to re-apply PR, get ITA again and get the PR again!
So, loosing my PR status won't affect my chances of getting a PR in future?
I have been hearing that it may adversely affect my future application from some folks( referring to @weakass comment)
Thanks for the comment.
I have been looking all over the internet for some source of info about this.
Do you know someone who tried doing this or is there an official website where I check this?
