I'm getting older, want to coast for the rest of my career. I'm wondering if I should apply to companies like Indeed, Square, Spotify, Twitter, Bloomberg, Atlassian. They all have excellent WLB ratings, but I rarely see them mentioned in "what companies are best for coasting?" type threads. What's up with that?

I asked this same question yesterday in the linked post below, but I guess it was a little too verbose, so I'll try being more concise this time.

Can confirm Bloomberg is a great place to coast. You will enter with a decently high salary but it will stay pretty flat if you coast (I have to imagine this is true regardless of where you work). The technology changes at a glacial pace so if you know C++ and Python you’re basically set. Just avoid Trading Systems - all of the downsides of Bloomberg comp and technology with none of the WLB pros.

Spotify is great for that. However it’s really hard to get hired here. I’ve referred a lot of people (20ish) and only 2 made it through
