Facebook still not making money from it's most used app by billions of users: WhatsApp. I their revenue is going to increase more once they start generating revenue from it 🤔🤔
That’s all priced in already. Anything you can think of is priced in already by the efficient market hypothesis. So the answer to your question is maybe.
It’s only a hypothesis for a reason. Economics isn’t a real science.

Nah don’t buy
I believe WhatsApp has the potential to become another WeChat. Won't be easy but it can happen in developing economies. Brazil and India are huge markets. They may integrate Libra in some way. Think they will try to bring transactions to WhatsApp. Don't think conventional ads will work in WhatsApp mainly because they claim that messages are encrypted. If that's the case then targeted ads will be difficult to implement.
WhatsApp is already everywhere in India. Much much more that in the US.
Do you mean they will start having ads on what’s app? Or pay to use the service?
Put ads on WhatsApp. Facebook made it clear they rather have ads than make people pay for a service
If that’s the case, invest in Telegram because people will stop using what’s app.
