I’ve identified that I don’t enjoy my work, don’t have enough impact, don’t like my team, and feel like I’m not paid enough (non-technical - general biz ops type function).
I currently have an opportunity to jump to a different company (recently IPOed unicorn) in a similar role with better pay (~30% more) and significantly sharper coworkers. However, the work is similar and I eventually want to do something closer to product in the long term. There is also a possibility I will want to start a company or go early stage when my green card clears at some point next year.
Should I grin and bear it at Salesforce - hoping those product adjacent projects pop up in my current role + add tenure - or do I address the other pain points now and jump ship?
